King and Slater continues to practice their own version of "the law" in this action packed book set in the U.S. and Mexico and involving one facet of the Mexican cartels. King's baby son and Slater's "adopted" son work their way into this book in cute and terrifying way, and even their wives have their own starring roles. Only thing that bothers me about this book is that the author sets it in the U.S., but uses Queen's English words and spelling throughout, but not consistent. Sometimes tires are Tyres, and sometimes they are Tires. Same with flashlights - sometimes they are Torches and other times the same thing is a Flashlight. Somewhat disconcerting, but I am a language snob, so there's that. But anyway, Matt - KEEP 'EM COMING, and I'll keep buying them!!! Ok, stories about King and Slater were fun. They give us a set of Hero’s to follow but they are true to life killers through and through. Then they find smart attractive women and the women become killers through whom justice is almost always death. Finally, crazy Slater adopts a 13 year old from the street and begins to train him to follow in his footsteps. No story about Alexis stopping that; she encourages the kid to begin infiltrating a drug ring whom she later kills. It’s too much to even sanction by accepting this as a good story. It isn’t a good story and for me it has become a sick romp. Don’t buy this degenerate story line.
